This quarter we invite you to join Joe Guistewhite and the Bereans in a study of the New Testament book of I Timothy. This is one of the Apostle Paul's pastoral epistles in which he addressed a number of concerns that had arisen in the early first century New Testament church. His writing dealt with warnings about the creeping incursion of false teaching as well as establishing the role of women in the church, and most importantly defining the qualifications for elders and deacons. This book study is particularly timely and relevant to our situation here at Bible Baptist as we seek to implement and work under a new constitution, based on the very principles that the Apostle Paul laid down in I Timothy.
