Visiting a new church can be frightening. You are probably asking yourself questions like "Will they embarrass me because I am new?" and "Where should I sit?" Bible Baptist Church is a friendly church but will not embarrass you, and you may sit anywhere! We are providing the information below to help you feel welcome. Let's begin with the biggest question of all...
What should I expect on Sunday morning?
Visit our directions page for written directions or use the convenient link to MapQuest, which provides you with custom directions. We have a large parking lot with plenty of parking and even reserved spots for visitors if you wish.
Just inside the main entrance, you'll find our welcome area which includes information about the church, current events, and our greeters. The greeters will be happy to assist you with any questions as well as provide you with the morning church bulletin.
Inside the main entrance is the main auditorium, and again, you may sit anywhere.
Our blended service (BBC Central) begins at 10:25 AM and is about 75 minutes in length. We spend time singing hymns and choruses, and one of our pastors will teach us from God's Word.
There is a time in the first part of the service when an offering plate will be passed around for our regular attenders who wish to voluntarily give to our church ministry, but you will not be expected to give anything.
Do I have to dress up?
Dress the way you will feel comfortable. On most Sunday mornings you will see suits and dresses sitting next to shorts or blue jeans.
What will happen to me if I come?
Well, most importantly we hope that God touches your heart, and that you come to know Jesus in a personal way. But if you mean, are we going to embarrass you in any way? Definitely not. Our services are small enough to get connected yet big enough to be anonymous if you wish.
Is there anything for my children?
We have nurseries and programs for children of all ages and information about those programs can be found on our website under Early Childhood and Children's Ministries.
How can I get connected with the church when I am ready?
There is a Welcome Class for new attenders that meets on Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM in Carey 304 which is near the lower lobby behind the main auditorium. A map of our facilities can be found here.
