kids and youth ministries

Kids and youth are important at BBC! We have opportunities for each age group to get involved, build friendships, and learn about the Word of God. Our goal at BBC is to inspire kids and teens to start their faith journey well and to assist families to raise children who are relationally connected, transformed by the gospel, and involved in the mission of Jesus Christ. We invite your family to join us on this journey.

We are committed to providing safe environments and engaging opportunities to learn and grow.

How we keep your kids safe

bbc kids ministry

BBC Kids (0 Years-4th Grade) strives to provide engaging, dynamic Bible teaching that will excite kids about the Bible and give resources to their parents and guardians as they strive to keep them encouraged in the Word of God. Register your kids

What we offer for your kids:

  • Sunday Morning Nursery provides care for your littlest ones (ages 0-3 years) while you enjoy the service. Located in the gallery hallway that runs alongside our auditorium and can be accessed from the upper and lower lobbies, our nurseries are safe, clean, and fun spaces staffed by volunteers who love babies and toddlers and care about their parents' ability to worship each week.
  • Sunday Morning Kids Church is a worship service, which meets in the gym, designed especially for kids (4 years-4th grade) and includes upbeat kids worship songs, a Bible lesson, games, crafts, and small group discussions.
  • Mommy and Me a music based interaction between moms and children (0-3 years), playtime, an opportunity for moms to encourage and pray with one another, and at home helps. This group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month in the preschool nursery, starting October 13.
  • Awana provides a fun, upbeat environment for kids (4 years-4th grade) to engage in Bible study, memorization, prayer, and more. This program, which meets in the gym each Wednesday, includes large and small group instruction and high energy games.  Awana Resources

  • InTransit meets Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 PM. Each meeting includes games, large group teaching, and small group interaction. Kids are also encouraged to commit to owning their faith for themselves and grow closer to Jesus every day.

fusion student ministry

FUSION Student Ministries is a community for 7th-12th graders and exists to inspire teens towards a greater love for God, a desire for God's Word, and a passion to share their faith with those around them. We plan all our gatherings around three main goals: to promote transformational growth, relational connection, and missional outreach opportunities. We promote transformational growth by challenging students with the Word of God in some way at every single event or gathering. We know that godly relationships are essential in the life of a young Christian, so we work hard to cultivate student-student and student-leader relationships with the Word of God as our basis. In order to help students live on mission, we strive to provide opportunities for our students to serve each other, our congregation at large, and our surrounding community.

What We're Doing in Student Ministry:

  • FUSION hosts gatherings each Wednesday, from 6:30-8:00 PM, in the Santos Center, located at the far end of the lower parking lot. Each week includes a hangout and game time before the program, student-led worship, a Bible lesson, and oftentimes a snack. Please check the events calendar below to see where Fusion will be each week.
  • FUSION also holds monthly get-together activities that vary from gingerbread building contests to weekend scavenger-hunt retreats. These typically take place on Friday evenings and give our teens an opportunity to connect with each other while doing something fun. They often include a devotional thought for the group as well.

We’d love to talk with you about any questions you may have about the Fusion Student Ministry or how you can get involved. Fill out a Connect Form so we have a little bit of information about you,  contact us at fusion@bbcpa.org, or sign up to receive our weekly e-newsletter.
